1. What Belay is
Belay is a productivity app that breaks large tasks into smaller steps, with the help of an AI model. By using it you agree to these terms.
2. Belay is not advice
⚠️ Belay is not a medical device, a therapist, a doctor or a coach in any professional sense. It reads health data only to show you your own trends, and its suggestions are generated by a language model. They may be wrong, unhelpful or unsuitable for you.
Do not use Belay to make medical, psychological, legal or financial decisions. If you are struggling with your mental health, please talk to a qualified professional.
3. Your content
Whatever you type into Belay stays yours. To generate a reply, the text of your request is sent to Google's Gemini API — read section 3 of the Privacy Policy before you rely on this, because on the free tier Google may use that content to improve its products and a human reviewer may read it.
You agree not to use Belay to process content that you are not entitled to share that way.
4. Belay Pro
Belay Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, sold as:
- Annual, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers
- Monthly, with no trial
Prices are shown in your local currency on the purchase screen before you buy.
How it renews. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription automatically. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during it.
Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID account settings, or through Settings → Subscription in Belay, which links to the same place. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by Belay.
5. What Pro includes, and what free keeps
Pro adds AI-ordered daily planning, writing your plan into your calendar, unlimited use of "I'm stuck", and a completion-pattern insight.
Nothing that works in the free version is taken away by not subscribing. The free version remains fully usable: goals are always broken down, never counted and never refused, and one "I'm stuck" is available each week.
6. Fair use
Do not attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer or circumvent the rate limits on Belay's services, or use them for anything other than the app's own features.
7. Availability, and no warranty
Belay is provided "as is". It depends on services operated by Apple, Google and Cloudflare, and it may be unavailable, interrupted or changed. No guarantee is made that it will be error-free or continuously available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of Belay. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
These terms may change. Material changes are reflected in the date above, and continuing to use Belay after that means you accept them.
